Snakes

There are many types of creepy crawlers that find a way into your home, but a snake is probably the last one you want to see sliding across the basement floor in the middle of the night.  Hopefully, this scenario won’t happen often, but if you do ever find a snake in or around your home, Critter Control of Central Mississippi has the snake removal services you need to feel safe again.

Cottonmouth. Common statewide.  Occurs in most aquatic habitats, but reaches greatest abundance in Coastal Plain swamps.  The only venomous aquatic snake in North America.  Includes subspecies A.p. piscivorus (eastern cottonmouth), A.p. conanti (Florida cottonmouth), and A.p. leucostoma (western cottonmouth).
